For private yoga lessons I offer instruction at Jennyoga a centrally located studio in the heart of River Oaks area, or if you prefer at the comfort of your own home with yourself or a few of your friends.

I offer a free 10 - 15 minute phone consultation to assess your specific needs and the type private yoga session best suited to your situation.

How Can I Benefit From Private Yoga Lessons?
While yoga classes are a wonderful way to learn and practice yoga, the nature of a group format is not ideal for every situation. Many students choose to augment group classes with private yoga lessons for one or more of the following reasons:

Develop a Home Yoga Practice (or travel Practice).

New to yoga- group classes seen overwhelming or intimidating.

Help working toward a specific goal - flexibility, balance, strength, focus. 

Target a specific area - tight hips, weak knees, stiff back, poor balance. 

Complement a weight loss, strength, or stress reduction program.  

Focus inward for restoration, spiritual growth and emotional balance. 

Enjoy personal connection and attention offered in private yoga lessons. 

 What is a Private Yoga Lesson Like?
Each private session is designed specifically for your needs. We develop exercises (yoga asanas) and meditation practices for your individual situation, taking into consideration your fitness level, stress level, and personal goals. In a private session I am able to provide much more hands on attention (physical adjustments and assisted stretching), than is possible in a group yoga class. Another thing that we can do to add depth to your sessions is develop meditations and guided relaxation routines customized to your needs. Sessions take place at Jennyoga studio, or the location of your choice. I provide all necessary props, including yoga mats, yoga blocks, yoga blankets and yoga straps
